Skin Needling is a comprehensive and thorough one day course suitable to post-graduate Beauty Therapists, Dermal Clinicians and any other Skin Practitioners.
Skin Needling, also referred to as; Percutaneous Collagen Induction (PCI), Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT), Dermal Rolling or Dermal Stamping all involve creating a microscopic pin-prick wound with a needle device creating tiny channels into the epidermis. This engages the body’s natural wound healing response and as a result, an increase in fibroblast production and product penetration.
Skin Needling is a versatile procedure for the reduction of wrinkles, thin skin density, hyper-pigmentation, rosacea, loss of adhesion and resiliency, photo ageing, scars, melasma and stretch marks. It can also be used on several areas of the body including the face, neck, hands, and arms and is safe for most skin types. Skin Needling leaves the epidermis in tact without damage to the stratum corneum. It promotes a scarless healing while encouraging an even deposition of collagen and elastin.
